Main Album View
The main album view of the client. Everything is synced with the service, with no need to publish. Simple album list on the left, images on the right. Very pretty :)

 Image Detail View
Clicking on an image takes you to this view, which provides the ability to look at an image and make modifications to it. Since there client syncs with the service while you work, any modification made to the image happens instantly on the service, and the changes are visible to all.

 Image Captioner
Just a neat little dialog on the app that would let you quickly tab through the images in an album and caption them.

This project was a real learning experience for me, as it was my first experience with a Mac (outside of Oregon Trail on the Applet II in elementary school). I was given a Mac and a few months, and out came this client. Since I was starting from a fresh codebase, I was able to do things 'right', as well as have some creative control over the design and usability of the application. It leapfrogged the current PC client in terms of usability and coolness (where as the PC client looked like Office 2003, this looked more like a sexy Apple app), and Phanfare gained a bunch of Mac users. To this day, Phanfare still has a much higher percentage of Mac users than one would expect, probably because the software is so good... or so I like to think! ;)
