Note that this is in General Biology, a Freshman-level class
if you are a Biology major. There are 5 tests a semester, with
most of the points allocated into those tests. The 'extra credit'
to which he refers totals 10 points out of 540. Withdrawl deadline
was last friday.

Hey, this is my 3rd test and I only got a 12/50!  It's
like this on all the tests!  8-( I go to all the SI
sessions I can and I think I have 15.  I need all the
extra credit I can get.  Do you think I can pass with
the extra credit??  I study all the time, but the stuff
we do in class is very hard.  I think I should drop this
class, but I don't want to change my major!! Is there a
deadline for dropping classes?  I'm a biology major and
I don't know what else to do.  I heard the classes get
easier after this, is this true??  What should I do??
Oh, and I missed class today because I had a huge
hangover :-(  What did we do??
